I’m disappointed first of all, as I know Clarington is large enough to be it’s own riding. Time to stop putting us with Oshawa.
But I regress.
By the looks of it the new Northumberland boundaries are the ones of Northumberland-Peterborough South.
As I live in Ward 4 of Clarington
Can you PLEASE fix this, it’s embarrassing to live in a riding where you’re area is not acknowledged in the name even though you have the second most populous of a three part riding.
Clarke Township (1793-1973) was the historical Durham County Township that emcompassed what is now all of Ward 4 of Clarington, and would be the most neutral name.
My suggestion is, to acknowledge that ward 4 of Clarington will have more people then Peterborough.
Northumberland-Clarke-Peterborough South
Do not ignore Clarke again. Let us be in the riding name
Thank you,
