I have reviewed the boundary recommended changes for my riding and find this to be uneven and contrived.

Uneven in that the proposed Peterborough riding loses its traditional tourism district to the north which encompasses not only seasonal cottage owners, but more importantly full-time waterfront residents and towns - trading this for southern, sparsely distributed farming communities. This proposal also creates geographically unmanageable East and West expanded ridings of Hastings—Lennox and Addington—Tyendinaga and Haliburton—Kawartha Lakes—Brock.

Contrived in that the addition of Alderville/Roseneath is a community which has more in common with the rest of southern-Rice Lake communities within Northumberland than to be gerrymandered as a disconnected appendage to the proposed Peterborough riding.

I recommend to keep the electoral boundary for Peterborough-Kawartha as it currently is.
