As a long-time resident of Simcoe North, I would like to voice my concern and complete disagreement of the proposed boundary changes and the name change proposal.
This area has been Simcoe North since Confederation and the proposed name change is completely unnecessary.
Kindly leave the boundaries as they are. That particular port of Oro-Medonte is more affiliated with the Orillia and Midland area than with the Barrie Springwater side of the area and should remain part of Simcoe North.
