I just wanted to provide feedback on the proposed changes. I am strongly against reducing the number of federal ridings by one in Scarborough. The GTA is growing in population. While Quebec is getting more ridings, GTA is losing them. It's insane! Scarborough is constantly marginalized and underrepresented. Please do NOT move forward with this. Premier Ford already cut the number of city councillors in Scarborough in half. These riding changes will almost certainly be adopted by the province and for municipal elections. So many new immigrants come to Scarborough. Everyone needs an equal voice. Under no circumstances move forward with this. Keep the number of Scarborough ridings the same it is now. Anything less will be unacceptable in my view and the view of the residents of Scarborough.
