I wish to state my support for the proposed changes to Scarborough ward.
Specifically, the proposed changes re-integrates a broken community and ensures representation. It appears to me the new rouge valley ward has a higher correlation among income classes and I felt this majority income group was under represented un the previous riding -redraw.
I also believe the north -south divide by the 401 truly reflects the division among communities in Scarborough, by income group and age profile.
I assume it is necessary to reduce the number of ridings by one, and as a result some ridings in the central are inconveniently split, which is inevitable given the situation.
