I wish to object to the proposed changes to the Federal Electorate of Don Valley West. The changes to the southern part of the electorate calve the well-established community of Leaside in half while apparently leaving the northern boundary untouched as though Highway 401 is some sort of sacrosanct barrier. What was previously a sensible southern boundary between Don Valley West and adjacent electorates is proposed to be changed to place South Leaside in a strange and irregular eastern pocket of St Clair-Mount Pleasant.
I live in the portion proposed to be hived off and I strongly object.
