We are opposed to the proposed boundaries and electoral district changes to our riding and wish to share our comments as follows:
- We pay property taxes to the Corporation of the City of Kingston and not the proposed riding for Gananoque, Brockville or Prescott.
- Our fire and police services are under the City of Kingston.
- We are within 5km. to Kingston from the rural Kingston boundary and it is 90 km to Brockville.
Furthermore, any issues we have concerns with are centered around the City of Kingston and not Gananoque, Brockville or Prescott.
