I'm writing this email to state my opposition to the moving of my riding to Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott. I live just north of Kingston in Elginburg, moving my riding one hour away from me is ridiculous. My city is a part of Kingston, therefore my riding should be Kingston and the Islands. How disconnected do you want me to feel? What does someone in Gananoque know about what is best for the people living in my city? The property taxes are paid to the City of Kingston every year, not Gananoque or Brockville, and I've never even heard of Prescott before. The closest riding to me is Kingston and the Islands, and this is exactly where I should be voting. Do not move it further away, make it closer.
