Please consider this email as feedback regarding the change in my riding from Lanark, Frontenac, Kingston to Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott.

It doesn't make sense to me that when my address is Kingston, Ontario, that I would feel comfortable being included in the new riding of Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott. My interests do not align with that community. Even though my community is Joyceville, I am included in Kingston, Ontario.

I pay property taxes to the City of Kingston, my police and fire services are shared with Kingston, my social, cultural and economic activity all center around Kingston. It would also seem to serve me better that my constituency office would be in Kingston, rather than an hour's drive to Brockville. I must say that I do not feel well served by the Lanark, Frontenac, Kingston riding either.

I must add though, that I have concerns regarding the voice of the rural/farming community. We must ensure that it is heard!

Please consider this as a request that our area be included in the riding of Kingston and the Islands.
