Dear Ms. Puddy:
The Municipality of North Grenville would like to request a revision to the proposed name for the district currently named "Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes".
The proposed name "Gananoque-Brockville-Prescott" does not accurately reflect the encompassed region. Our Council humbly requests the district be named "Gananoque-Brockville-Grenville" to better indicate the region served. North Grenville Council unanimously passed a motion in this regard at our September 14, 2022, Council Meeting.
