I have been a resident of Georgetown for 26 years. During that time our representatives at all levels have done a good job of representing our town.
We have been able to maintain our smaller town atmosphere and control our growth over the years.
As a resident of South Georgetown I am very unhappy with the decision to redistribute us into a Milton election area. The residents of Milton have very different concerns than we do in our smaller town. I feel that any representation I would have from this new area would not represent me or my concerns.
You would not be giving our town a cohesive voice and would put different areas of Georgetown at odds with each other.
Very disappointed in this decision. Please reconsider keeping our town's representation cohesive.
