I just became aware that the proposed re-distribution will split the Town of Halton Hills into two electoral districts. While I understand the underlying principal of re-distribution, in this case the result will be to separate Georgetown from Acton. These small towns are just about 5km apart and have just about everything in common. Together, these places can speak with a single voice — they have everything in common while separated the Town would have to deal with two MPPs.

Please re-consider the outcome of this proposal.
