I am concerned with the proposed boundary change for portions of Burlington that are proposed to be added to the modified Burlington Milton West boundary. The Tyandaga area of Burlington is an established older neighbourhood. Milton West is included in the new boundary with Burlington Tyandaga. Milton has significantly more development issues due to the fact that it is a rapidly growing community (in fact i believe) the fastest growing population in Ontario. Tyandaga is an older established neighbourhood that has different issues compared to that of Milton West. Also Tyandaga is at the extreme southwest corner of the proposed revised boundary and as a result will get relatively little attention due to the extreme differences in needs. A similar discussion can be made for the Brant Hills neighbourhood within Burlington as well.
Burlington Tyandaga and Burlington Brant Hills will not be best served by the realigned boundaries.
