The Oakville North Riding should include parts of all North Oakville which means areas north of Dundas street. Excluding them from this riding means you are excluding a community of identity and people who are proud and have chosen to live in Oakville. They do not want to be part of riding that is associated with Milton and their interests would not be represented properly.
The Orchard neighborhood in Burlington should not be in this riding and should be part of one of the new Burlington ridings. They no not identify with the Town of Oakville and should have their interests be heard by a Member of Parliament who is representing a Burlington riding. The MP for Oakville North's main interest would be for Oakville therefore they would not be represented fairly in this new redistribution.
If you eliminate the Orchard and add the area of Oakville north of Dundas that should leave the Oakville North riding with the same amount of people as the original proposed Oakville North intended.
