I took a a look at the proposed electoral districts redistribution and was shocked and angry when I saw how many in my area and city will be severely affected.

I live just east of Appleby and Mainway in Easy Burlington. According to the proposed change, my subdivision called Sheldon Creek and the larger more densely populated Orchard community get lumped in with the "Oakville North" riding while the majority of the rest of the city falls under the Burlington Lakeshore riding with the exception of another swath of the city that is now lumped in with West Milton.

It is upsetting that our much smaller section of the city is being lumped in with a completely separate city whose residents and policies are different. In the past it was more evenly split as Oakville North - Burlington but now we are just a small group in Burlington that have been thrown in to stay with another cities larger and bigger area.

This will make our votes from Burlington unrepresentative. The type of residents are different between the two cities so I don't understand why such a small section of Burlington's population got lumped in with Oakville rather than one of the other two Burlington area ridings?

This will be the 3rd time our district will change and I'm just fed up with constantly getting moved around.

Thank you.
