We the Township of Johnson would to say that we support the Motion #22-266 from The Township of MacDonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional to the Electoral Boundary Commission to maintain the electoral representation of Northern Ontario and ensure that any boundary changes are done in a manner that responds to local need. Therefore, on the September 21 2022 open council a resolution was passed:
Res: 115-2022
Be it resolved that Council supports the resolution from MacDonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional with regard to calling on the Electoral Boundary Commission to maintain the electoral representation of Northern Ontario and ensure that if any boundary changes occur it is done in a manner that responds and represents reginal and local needs. Carried
Therefore all Parties will notified of our resolution 115-2022.
