Ce decoupage est surprenant, Carlington appartient à la communauté d'Ottawa centre, géographiquement et pour l'accès aux services. Le découpage proposé crée une encoche sur Carlington pour l'exclure d'Ottawa Centre alors que ses habitants profitent de la Ferme expérimentale centrale, sont concerné par la relocalisation de l'hôpital Civic. Pourquoi ne pas transferer la partie la plus à l'ouest d'Ottawa centre vers Ottawa-Ouest Nepean?

This division is surprising, Carlington belongs to the central Ottawa community, geographically and for access to services. The proposed division creates a notch on Carlington to exclude it from Ottawa Center as its residents benefit from the Central Experimental Farm, are concerned with the relocation of the Civic Hospital. Why not transfer the westernmost part of Ottawa Center to Ottawa West Nepean?
