I live in the South Keys community in the riding of Ottawa South. Many of my Immediate family members and friends live in the Findlay Creek community very close to us. Unfortunately, Findlay Creek is in the riding of Carleton. My immediate family members and close friends live right beside us, but are forced to go further for government help from their Member of Parliament's office with a large riding far away from them.
Additionally, many members of our Muslim community in Findlay Creek gather to pray at a large mosque in the South Keys community near my home.
In fairness to our entire community, I am advocating for the following proposal for Findlay Creek to be included in the Ottawa South riding. The Ottawa South community wants to be united together.
