Hello, this is my third email to the Ontario elections regarding where I am designated to vote. I am hoping that with the upcoming change in the Federal Redistribution, that the error can be corrected.
Clearly my address is Kitchener and yet according to Ontario elections maps and federal maps, I live in Waterloo. I don't want to vote for the Waterloo area as they do not control what happens in my area. I want to vote for Kitchener.
In looking further at your maps, there is a significant area that is considered Waterloo district 114, which is designated as part of Kitchener on the city maps. This area is bordered by Bechtel Park, Bridge St., Lancaster Rd., and Hwy 85.
I might as well not vote as it really doesn't count for my area and is skewing the results in Waterloo. I want my vote to count as I am sure others in the area would also.
I would like to have my concerns addressed, so far all I have received is an email saying someone would get back to me in a few days, and that was months ago.
