Pelee Island is a single tier Municipality and a Provincial tourism destination at the very start of Canada in the middle of the western Basin of Lake Erie. The island is not part of Essex County or Kent County though we rely on our neighbours for many things.
The CKL riding was redone in 2013 to add Pelee Island but never recognized our community's addition in the riding mame as it is proposed to do so for Kingsville.
Pelee Island routinely battles issues associated with "out of sight, out of mind". Please give our community some visibility by including Pelee Island in the formal name of this new proposed riding.
