Re: Proposal for Ontario's Federal Electoral Boundaries
This is in response to correspondence received from your office dated September 6, 2022 regarding the above mentioned subject.
The proposed changes to the electoral boundaries will eliminate the existing riding of Huron-Bruce and create a new riding of South Huron Shores and also moves the Township of Howick to the proposed redistribution Perth Wellington district.
Howick Township is part of Huron County and has common concerns, partnerships and shared services with all other Huron County lower trier municipalities and the County; therefore, we request that the Huron-Bruce electoral boundary remain status quo; or leave Howick Township with the rest of Huron County.
