I've been a London resident for 68 years and wish my voice to be heard.
You must be aware that London is the fastest growing city in Ontario as well as having the highest population in Canada. Therefore, explain to me how it make sense to reduce our representation in Parliament down to 2 seats?? If that wasn't bad enough, you want to extend our city limits to include some rural communities! They don't have the same concerns and needs as a big city. What a tragic disservice to our neighbors. You would be drowning out their voices completely! If anything, London should increase their representation in Parliament. The only possible reason I can see for this decrease is Money 💰 Sure, we have a deficit in Canada, but is this the best way to recoup the funds?
