Subject: A New Electoral Map for Canada

Hello,

Here is my proposal for 342 federal electoral districts across Canada.

The proposed ridings use population counts from the 2021 Census recently released by Statistics Canada. I will update this map periodically with revised boundaries if I find a better alternative.

In contrast to the Commission's proposal, my alternative would:

• keep the City of Saint John united in a single riding
• set the population of each electoral district as close as reasonably possible to the electoral quota (77,561)
• maintain the bilingual nature of New Brunswick by keeping three ridings with over 60% French mother tongue, and significantly increase the French share of the population of Moncton--Dieppe (from 36% to 45%)
