I am writing in regards to the Federal Riding Boundary Review for Brooklin, ON.

I do not believe the proposed redistribution, to include Brooklin with the Pickering electoral district, makes logical sense for many reasons. We are very different populations with very different needs, and ours will likely go unaddressed being we are so separated from the main Pickering area.

Instead I believe it would be much more logical to separate North Ajax, North Whitby (including Brooklin) and North Oshawa into one electoral district. The northern areas of these districts have very different needs than the southern area of the districts, and keeping them geographically linked in an electoral district will allow for more of the issues and needs to be addressed collectively.
