I do not support the establishment of the proposed riding of Kenora - Thunder Bay - Rainy River. Despite all being part of Ontario Kenora has little to do with Thunder Bay. Ever since 1878 when the Kenora area was connected to Winnipeg area by rail, Kenora and surrounding area has been part of Winnipeg's orbit. When someone in Kenora says they are, "going to the city" 100% of the time they mean they are going to Winnipeg. To tie Kenora's fortune with Thunder Bay area is pure folly— it looks good on a map but ignores the reality on the ground. I hope the boundary is reconsidered.
