I am a resident of Manitoulin Island.

I strongly object to the proposed changes, including the elimination of one riding in the North, and the realignment of Algoma-Manitoulin itself.

We are already under represented, and to eliminate one seat is ridiculous.

To make our riding larger will reduce the ability of our MP to serve the residents, and deter people from participating in the democratic process.

Finally, I see this as yet another effort by the Liberal Government to force people to live in urban areas and abandon rural communities.

Do not remove our representation on Parliament. Do not eliminate Algoma-Manitoulin.
