I would like to make my opinion on this known. I have lived, worked and paid taxes in Northern Ontario for most of my life.
During my work life in Child Welfare I underwent many legislative changes. Every single one of them was developed by a group from southern Ontario with little to no input from Northern Ontario. It was costly and never rolled out the way it was intended.
There does not seem to be a thorough understanding of the geographical area in Northern Ontario. It is immense.
You are spreading the districts over such an immense area as to be ridiculous.
Take a week and come up here to actually talk to the people and view the area.
Do your homework.
